Dutch-Croatian photographer Sanja Marusic, born in 1991, received her first camera at the age of fifteen. Only two years later she got into the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague (KABK), and in 2013 she graduated with an Honourable Mention.
Marusic travels the world to create otherworldly images. Her experimental approach to colour, composition, materials and manipulations leads her dreamlike yet alienating scenes. In 2017, she launches her first photo book featuring an extensive overview of her last colour-coordinated series. She also extends her aesthetics through the video medium.
